Open field with a gravel loop around the bathhouse. Some pull thru sites but mostly back in. All sites have concrete pads which were not as level as expected. It is a city maintained park and has lots of lighting so consider there will be lots of ambient light at night. Bathrooms are cleaned each morning. We arrived on a rainy day so there are some mud puddles in front of some of the site pads. A large dog walk area next to bathhouse. The park itself has the historic home that is supposed to be haunted! We didn't check it out. Do not follow Google directions from the south of the park.....it will take you in the back way on a dirt road! We had been assigned a large pull thru site but moved to a backin since we are only a Class B. CASH or CHECK only! We camped at Spring Villa Park in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:

Road to park is fine unless you come from the South direction....then it is typical Alabama red dirt road.

I was terrified as we drove toward this campground by signs warning of catastrophic sink holes! When we talked to Jeff, he told us theyve been up for about 5 years, and theyve had no other problems since one event. He didnt elaborate on the event!

This is an old park operated by city. The roads are gravel with concrete pads on the sites.
We were in site 2 which is a pull through. Its not exceptionally long and pulling out is down a small slope so definite limitations on where to put the camper. We were able to level it, however.

Cellphone service was adequate with Verizon

Water smelled of sulphuricglad we had the Berkey! We camped at Spring Villa Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Enjoyed this Park. We found a spot on the night of the 4th of July. It was clean and quiet, even though it was a holiday and several people in the park. The lights are very bright, so you may need more than your shades of you like it dark. We camped at Spring Villa Park in a Travel Trailer.

I would agree 100% with Eddie McDonald. This is a nice little park. A mix of back ins and pull throughs, all with concrete pads for the RV and concrete patios with nice picnic tables. Nice grass around the sites as well. Far enough off the beaten path but not too far. Maybe 10 min from I 85. A much better value than Lakeside, which is another nearby park charging $50 per night. We camped at Spring Villa Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Full Hookups, easy entry, paved sites, Quiet park, Park Manager Jeff is wonderful. There's a haunted antebellum mansion, a hiking trail and a huge picnic area and playground. It's a City park with only 30 RV sites and the rates are very reasonable. We're only 15 minutes from Tiger Town Mall and…

Secluded and quiet, but 10 minutes from anything you forgot to bring. Ideal for RV'ing, this place is good for picnics, hiking, or just peaceful reflection. Tent camping is also available.

I went here as a kid and the water was as frozen as anything I have ever felt. There was a great old home that served as a centerpiece but then I heard the sprig dried up due to increased development . I would love to hear what others have to say about this place
