AT&T Senior Nation Phone Plan

A Closer Look at AT&T’s Plans and Pricing

When deciding if you should go for AT&#;T's talk-only plan or an economically priced unlimited plan, the biggest factor to consider is how you will use your phone. If you make phone calls only and don't need any data, then a basic phone plan is sufficient. However, if you want to share photos of the grandkids or scroll on Facebook, then an unlimited plan with data is more appropriate.

The AT&#;T Senior Nation Plan for Basic Cell Phone Use

This basic AT&#;T phone plan is perfect for seniors who want to stay connected but don't need internet access or text messaging. It offers unlimited mobile-to-mobile calling for AT&#;T customers. That means you can call any of your friends and family who have an AT&#;T mobile plan and chat as much as you want! The AT&#;T Senior Nation plan also comes with anytime minutes for making calls to non-AT&#;T customers, so you can use those minutes for things like calling the doctor's office or chatting with friends who don't have AT&#;T. You'll also get bonus minutes for night-and-weekend calls.

This plan is great for older adults who want a cheap phone plan. Since the plan doesn't come with data, you don't need to spend hundreds of dollars on a smartphone. Instead, you can opt for a low-cost flip phone and pay just $ per month for your plan. If you are a veteran or AARP member, you may be eligible for an additional discount on top of that.

AT&#;T Unlimited 55+ Plan for Florida Residents

With rates per line ranging from $40 to $60 per month, AT&#;T offers this unlimited plan for the and-over crowd that comes with (you guessed it) unlimited talk, text, and data. So you can check in on Facebook, search for local businesses, and receive pictures of the grandkids while you're out and about. This plan is an excellent choice for older adults who use their phone frequently throughout the day. The Unlimited 55+ plan also features unlimited talk, text, and data in Canada and Mexico. Plus, you'll get free texting in over countries, perfect for frequent travelers.

Buyer&#;s Tip: AT&#;T offers a 10 percent discount on standard unlimited plans for AARP members.

While currently only available to Florida residents, we hope this plan will be expanded to other areas soon. Like other AT&#;T unlimited plans, consumers are rewarded for having multiple lines, so the more lines you have, the lower rates per line you'll pay.

AT&#;T Unlimited Starter Plan for Non-Florida Residents Who Want an Unlimited Plan

Maybe the above plan sounds perfect, but there is just one little problem: You don't live in Florida. If you don't call the Sunshine State home, you can choose a basic unlimited plan and a senior-friendly smartphone. While this plan isn't senior-specific, it still offers unlimited talk, text, and data at a decent price. Plus, you can apply an extra discount on the plan price if you are an AARP member or a veteran.

This plan is priced based on the number of lines on your account. With at least four lines, you can get the AT&#;T Unlimited Starter plan for as low as $35 per month. For a single line, users will pay $65 per month before any discounts. Overall, this plan is best for seniors who use their phone frequently and want to share a phone plan with a few family members.
